Job Context
- Grameen Shikkha is a not-for-profit organization created by Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus. It promotes education, vocational training and child development and conducts skills training program, scholarship management program, early childhood development program and non-formal primary school program for poor and disadvantaged people.
- Job location: Grameen Shikkha Non-formal Primary School Program, Mirpur, Dhaka
Job Description / Responsibility
Supervision of and pedagogic support as well as Technical support like Book folder preparation, report writing, conducting training to the teachers and so on to non-formal primary schools.
Educational Requirements
- A post graduate degree preferably in English.
- Anyone with good skills in English and a bachelor degree in any discipline may also apply.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in English is essential for this position.
- Candidate must have good teaching skills in English especially at primary level.
- The ideal candidate is expected to be skilled in computer applications like MS-Word, Excel, Power Point and the Internet.
- Experience in monitoring and evaluation works in a development organization will be considered an added qualification.
- At least three years experience in relevant work.
- Age limit: Not more than 32 years old as on 31 May 2017. Age limit may be relaxed for exceptionally experienced candidate.
Job Location
Dhaka (Mirpur)
Salary Range
Initially BDT 15,000. Higher salary may be offered to an exceptionally skilled candidate.
